Junior Pricing Analyst

The position

The position is based in HBK’s office in Maia (Porto, Portugal), while reporting to our Copenhagen Pricing Head Office.

Primary responsibilities

As a Junior Pricing Analyst, you will take on a role that offers a challenging, but rewarding day-to-day set of responsibilities. In this position, you can expect to:

- Utilize our internal discount evaluation tool to analyze and review quotations on a daily basis, providing valuable price optimization suggestions to our Sales organization
- Assist in the development and maintenance of pricing models and tools
- Contribute new insights from day-to-day pricing tasks to improve the overall process model
- Perform data analyses to create and present reports to management on pricing and discounting performance and insights
- Maintain and execute operational pricing in SAP and Oracle, ensuring that prices are consistently updated accurately
- Collaborate with multiple corporate functions, including Sales, Product Management, IT, Marketing, Business Intelligence, and Finance
- Support ad hoc pricing projects and analyses as required

Professional qualifications
- You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science or similar
- Fresh graduates are welcomed
- 0-2 years work experience, with general business acumen and understanding of B2B companies gained from either an internal role or working with B2B clients
- Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and conditional formatting
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps)
- Knowledge of Power Apps development and Python programming for data analysis is a strong advantage, but not required.
