**Introduction Sentence**:
As a Data Platforms Intern (M/F/d) in our Tech Hub in Portugal, you will have the chance to take your first steps towards a career in the field of Data and Cloud Engineering. You will be a full-time member of a scrum team in the data platforms area, which is responsible for enabling product development teams and business users with state-of-the-art solutions. The topics you will encounter in this team reaches from data connection to visualization. Besides laying the technical foundation by managing a modern technology stack (e.g., Databricks, AWS, Airflow), the team also provides an extensive data lake which provides data from almost 100 sources in a standardized ready-to-use manner.

**What you can expect in this role**:

- Dive deep into Cloud, Data & AI in a leading media company
- Get hands-on with ProSiebenSat.1's corporate data tech stack in the Cloud
- Contribute to Cloud data platforms which serve as the backbone for a manifold of products built on top of them
- Work together with AI and BI development teams to ensure common success
- Teamwork and your personal development matter to us - you will be closely mentored by our experienced team and get extensive coaching
- Depending on your performance you can join us as a permanent employee after your internship

**Your essential experience and education**:

- You are in the final stages of your master studies in a technical or natural science related discipline or have just graduated
- Ideally, you have already used your programming skills (Bash, Python or Java) in software development, and you have first experiences in cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- You enjoy familiarizing yourself with new topics, communicate proactively and are enthusiastic about new technologies
- You have a very good command of English. Knowledge of Portuguese and/ or German language is considered a plus.
