RISK ANALYSIS TEAM LEADER (JOB NUMBER: 2207RSK12068)

**About the Job**
- The Team Leader of the RISK Institutional Credit Risk Controls (RISK I2S CRC) in Lisbon takes the responsibility of activities performed by the CRC Controllers. She or he also directly contributes to CRC production responsibilities

**Your Main Activities Are**
- Team management
- Actively contribute to the personal and professional development of each team member
- Manage the team responsibilities, prioritising the workload and developing back-ups
- Manage the team’s organisation and adaptability to new or changing responsibilities
- Ensure that policies, procedures, and best practices are well applied in conformity with the team’s mandate
- Ensure the business continuity and take responsibility for the team’s conduct and conduct risks
- Facilitate sharing and transfer of knowledge and training regarding the process and tools
- Represent the RISK I2S CRC team for topics related to Lisbon platform
- Provide adequate support, reporting and visibility on production status / KPIs / risks to RISK I2S Lisbon Head
- Ensure ongoing support to RISK I2S Management and Senior Credit Officers
- Participate as and when required in meetings, seminars, conferences and on-going or future projects which have a direct or partial impact on the CRC controller activities
- Other Key Responsibilities relevant to the RISK Lisbon Hub
- Take the lead or contribute to any process or tool improvements that are serving the team
- Interact with Audit/Inspection and Regulators, as appropriate
- Participation to CRC Controllers daily production
- Excess Management
- Identify and follow up of transactions generating excesses by conducting investigations in interactions with Front / Middle / Back Office
- Adequately close all excesses in the appropriate reporting platform
- Regular Coordination with Regional Coordinators
- Risk Monitoring and Reporting
- Provide credit risk exposure information on counterparts and product lines under CRC responsibility to the Business, RISK teams and Audit /Inspection, with additional analysis where necessary
- Monitor and ensure risk reporting of all specific activities (cf. CRC Operational procedure) and follow up with the various stakeholders on the exceptions identified in those reporting
- Adapt the monitoring to fit the needs of RISK I2S-CRC's clients

**Profile and Skills to Success**
- Master’s Degree in Engineering / Financial Engineering / Banking / Finance / Risk Management / Science / Economics or similar
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Financial Metrics / Corporate Banking / Capital Markets
- Fluency in English, both written and oral are mandatory
