- Financial Planning & Budgeting
ü Identify and calculate process, service, project, and component costs for financial planning and budgeting
ü Assist in the preparation, collection, and consolidation of budgets
ü Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets for different branches or sections
ü Support the Academy's contribution to the NCIA Corporate Planning process
- Purchasing & expenses management
ü Review and track purchase orders and purchase requests, reporting exceptions to Finance
ü Oversee expense management processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies
ü Prepare and present expense management reports with key insights and recommendations
ü Ensure proper documentation and adherence to NCIA directives
- Financial Reporting & Compliance
ü Gather and collate required financial data to exercise control and facilitate decision-making
ü Ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational standards for financial reporting
ü Analyze financial reports for errors or discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
- Internal Controls
ü Execute internal control mechanisms to ensure financial integrity
ü Detect and interpret budget variances and overruns, escalating issues as needed
ü Maintain internal control documentation and recommend improvements where necessary
