Your new role

The Junior Credit Controller will report to the Credit Control Team Leader and Credit Control & Invoicing Manager. This person will be responsible to keep customer accounts up to date and monitor them on daily basis, ensure timely payment of all customer debts through an organized and rigorous debts recovery method and provide an excellent service to internal and external customers in order to achieve the established collection objectives. You will be responsible for:
Daily registers of all customer receipts keeping the accounts always up to date.

Interact with external customers and, where appropriate, take the necessary steps to resolve sues.

Maintain the payment terms of customers correctly.

Perform the initial credit assessment of clients under team leader supervision

Carry out the Quality process in the Permanent Business Unit.

Keep the records in the software up to date.

Keep the records in the department files up to date.

Interdepartmental interaction for problem solving with team leader support.

Establish contact with consultants and managers when necessary.

Deal effectively and professionally with internal customers.

Perform all administrative work related to the function and the credit control and collection department.

Identify and report any issue that may involve delay in receiving by attracting the attention of Team Leader or Manager.

What you'll need to succeed

Training in area relevant to the function.

Knowledge of Office (especially Excel), Outlook and Internet.

Independent level of Portuguese

Knowledge of Spanish - Conversation and elementary writing

Knowledge of English (preferred)

Navision Knowledge (preferred)

Written and verbal communication skills.

Organization and archive capability.

Responsibility.

Ability to adapt to repetitive tasks.

Interest for the administrative work.

Team player.

Respectful for the hierarchy.

Spirit of initiative and curiosity.

Progressive ability to organize agenda and priorities.
