Therefore, we are currently looking for a:
**Market Access, Policy & Communications Lead (Associate Director Level)**

This role is based in Lisbon.

**Purpose of the role**

As Market Access, Policy & Communications Lead you will be part of Organon's Leadership Team in the Portuguese subsidiary. Working closely with the Managing Director this function is responsible for designing Policy, Market Access, and Communication strategies of the subsidiary, giving cohesion to strategic business initiatives across the organization, ensuring perfect alignment with the mission, vision and strategy of the organization**.**

**Main responsibilities**
- Coordination and support of development and implementation of the Market Access Strategy (clinical added value, pricing, economic value, and reimbursement strategy) for the designated therapeutic areas
- Management, preparation, and development of the reimbursement dossiers for health authorities and payers
- Achievement, maintenance and/or increment the reimbursement/access conditions for the Portuguese patients.
- Contribution to secure favorable and sustainable public policies on access to healthcare
- Development and implementation of the strategy to promote the value propositions in all therapeutic areas and/or products.
- Identification of data gaps and preparation/execution of the necessary outcome research data to support therapeutic areas during its lifecycle.
- Promote long term analysis of the market, building price and reimbursement strategies that will ensure competitive positioning vs. comparators, throughout their whole lifecycle.
- Develop a plan to engage with customers and stakeholders creating an “account approach”, according to the needs of the business goals.
- To scan the external environment and feed into the long range and operational brand plans across the portfolio.
- Input to Brand plan process with specific focus on local market access
- Inform brand strategy through direct involvement in brand planning processes; ensuring regional variation is accounted for in this process.
- Working alongside BUs to develop local plans which will deliver optimal local market access for current brands and manage the entry of launch brands at a regional level.
- Environmental horizon scanning and subsequent communication/dissemination into the business.
- Coordinate Organon's relationship with a specific group of customers identified as Middle-Health Care Managers thought their support in the implementation of the Healthcare policies and strategies.
- Agree on priorities across Organon portfolio with the Business.
- Represent Organon with national Societies and Working groups.
- Ensure a strong coordination between the Regional Access Managers, Pricing, and Communication
- Ensure that local market access strategy incorporates a clear link between engagement with health policy makers and regional implementation.
- In close collaboration with Medical and Marketing, seek advice and support from Key Scientific Leaders and, if adequate, patient organizations
- Ensure a successful execution in Pricing and Tenders activities, establishing a coordinated and integrated long, mid-, and short-term plan with all relevant stakeholders, and aligned with Global Market Access and the Global product franchises.
- Support critically strategic policy issues and business in market shaping, addressing policy challenges, developing action plans, and measuring policy impact.
- Lead the External and Internal Communication, designing the Policy/Comms strategy of Organon, aligned with the business strategy. Supervise the planning, development and execution of corporate communication and Corporate Social Responsibility programs to enhance company’s reputation.

**Your profile**
- Minimum of a university degree
- MBA and / or Postgraduate degree highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of the health system
- 5 + years in the industry
- 5 + in Market Access / Policy / Communications (at least in 2 of them)
- Experience in the therapeutic areas covered by Organon portfolio preferable.
- Experience in a large multinational company.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
