Architect Opendevices

**What you’ll do**:

- Ownership of software architecture for OpenDevices in alignment with e2e architecture team.
- Single point of contact of architecture guidance for development factories.
- Definition and monitoring of KPIs in regard to OpenDevice clients performance and scalability.
- Provide quality criteria and guidance to development factories.

**Who you are**:

- Proven ability to deliver TV clients on a large scale
- Confidence working with distributed and external development teams, using Agile /SAFE methodology.
- Experience with the following technologies, tools and frameworks:Javascript, React Native, JSON, XML, Postman, Swift, DASH, HLS and ABR video distribution
- Proven track record on well established industry designs and frameworks on areas such as security, software performance optimization and hardening, authentication and authorization.
- Knowhow on the following development environments:Android (Kotlin/Kotlin MP), AndroidTV on SmartTVs and media players, Tyzen and WebOS (HTML5), iOS / tvOS (Swift), HTML5 video
- Knowhow on the basic usage of the following technologies and formats: OH.264, H.265, H.266, ISOFF, MPEG2-TS, WebP and SVG
- Experience with issue tracking tools such as Atlassian JIRA
- Experience with documentation management tools such as Atlassian Confluence
- Proven experience on E2E architecture on multimedia and internet media
- Experience on mobile, WiFi, and fixed network technologies
- Good team player easily forming strong relationships across teams
- Good communication skills and comfortable communicating at all levels
- Demonstrated experience working in SAFE/AGILE environments
- Good documentation creation capability and knowledge transfer
- Proactive and capable of leading initiatives for continuous improvement
- Design pattern driven and capable of establishing new design patterns
- Focus on state-of-the-art user experience
- Portuguese and English language proficiency
