**Workplace**:Portugal or Spain

Under the guidance of H2BU's Director of Regulation and Government Affairs and in close collaboration with other H2BU members:

- Public Funding Management:

- Oversee the administration of funds received from national or European agencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, milestones and reporting.
- Manage the negotiation and contracting processes support with the funding agencies.
- Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay abreast of changes in regulatory frameworks and guidelines of the energy sector, particularly those related to hydrogen projects, in Portugal, Spain, and the European Union.
- Provide insights on how regulatory changes may impact ongoing and future projects.
- Decision-Making and Interface Management:

- Take a hands-on approach to the decision-making process regarding fund allocation and utilization.
- Interface with internal teams, external consultants, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
- Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain meticulous records of fund management activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders on the status of funded projects.
- Team Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective utilization of funds and alignment with project goals.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer within EDPR on regulatory and funding aspects.
- Dissemination:

- Organize or collaborate in training activities.
- Represent EDPR in sectorial working groups.
- Prepare presentations.

**What we are looking for**:

- **Mandatory**:

- Degree or Master's degree in engineering, economics, management, law, political science, environmental science;
- Professional experience between 3 and 5 years, preferably in the renewable energy sector of relevant experience;
- Knowledge of the energy sector, particularly renewable energy;
- Familiar with hydrogen-related technologies and their market dynamics;
- Experience with EU and national funding or tender programs and procedures, preferably for projects in the energy sector;
- Experience with SAP;
- Proficient user of Excel and Powerpoint;
- Fluent in English, Portuguese and/or Spanish. Other languages are a plus.
- **Nice to have**:

- Basic knowledge of accounting practices;
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
- Availability for occasional travelling;
