**INFORMATION**:
This is a major automotive project to take over all FuSi/FuSa relevant activities for future series vehicles.

**Services to be implemented**:

- You plan and coordinate the activities for the safety-related development of components for the vehicle series.
- You create the hazard analyzes and risk assessments.
- You are responsible for functional safety (FuSi) including software.
- Safety certificates according to ISO 26262 including documentation.
- You coordinate the required FuSi activities for functions or systems.
- As part of the release process for testing on public roads as well as for series use, the work products required for this must be viewed and the level of maturity achieved must be assessed in accordance with the release criteria. The basis for this is the customer specifications for the FuSi release recommendation with a differentiation into the release levels L2 (testing on public roads with restrictions), L3 (testing on public roads without restrictions) and L4 (series or customer operation).
- The timing of the release recommendations must be coordinated with the project manager responsible for release. Deviations and maturity gaps between the target and actual status compared to the implementation planning must be reported at an early stage and, if necessary, evaluated together with suitable experts from the project.
- Typically, release recommendations must be created repeatedly during development, which essentially build on the previous releases. Changes in development and current test results must be recorded and evaluated.
- Based on the safety plan of a development project, a summary safety certificate must be created in accordance with ISO 26262. The template or tool specified by the customer must be used. The content must be documented in a comprehensible manner in accordance with ISO26262 and customer specifications. This applies in particular to the explanations of special features and deviations in the project. In addition, the safety case must contain the compilation of all relevant references or work products according to the safety plan with versioning and document status.
- The safety program plan is used to plan and track FuSi activities throughout the development period. The template or tool specified by the customer must be used. Creation, coordination and ongoing maintenance (updating) must be ensured, taking into account project deadlines in accordance with ISO26262 and customer specifications. This includes documenting the responsibilities for the activities in the plan, including coordination with the affected process partners. Reviews of the SPP must be carried out.
