**Job Purpose**:
The Cyber Security Assurance Specialist is responsible for implementing and supporting information security assurance needs globally. Leads or serves as multi-discipline technical and project management resource in IT security to continually improve the information security infrastructure, procedures and assessments needs. Keeps abreast of the latest InfoSec laws/regulations and standards, and identifies risks and improvement opportunities to TD SYNNEX's business environments. The responsibilities include assessing current security measures and procedures, identifying and addressing areas of non-compliance, and responding with appropriate remediation action plans or risk treatment plans to prevent, protect detect, respond and recover against possible security breaches.

**Responsibilities**:

- C oordinates, develops, and evaluates information security programs and controls implementation status through gap analysis and controls assessments
- Develop tailored action plans and assurance/security solutions to support customer requirements in a fast paced, evolving environment
- Develop tailored action plans and assurance/security solutions to support regulatory/industry standard requirements
- Support and monitor the controls implementation, enhancements and ongoing security assurance status
- Develops policies, control standards, procedures and guidelines to achieve information security assurance (standards compliance)
- Identifies, reports, and resolves security non-conformities or violations
- Analyze and identifies information assurance and security requirements based upon the contractual agreements and applicable regulatory frameworks
- Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions that meet security requirements
- Performs vulnerability/risk analysis during all phases of the system development life cycle to ensure information systems are functional and secure

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Bachelor's Degree with IT field of study required.
- 5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience
- Other Information Security education/certifications desired: CISM, CRISC, ISO27001 L1/LA, CISSP, ISO27005 RM
- Controls Assessment and gap anlaysis experience
- Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
- Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
- Able to converse and write effectively in English and local language.
- Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
- Able to interact effectively with all levels of management
- Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills.
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
- Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
- Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

**Working Conditions**:

- Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
- On-call availability required as necessary.
- Some travel required.
