Teams of IT and Banking Support Activities work in an integrated, inclusive and transversal way, supporting all the business lines and country platforms.

**Job Description**:
**Team presentation and main goal**:
As part of the Finance Direction, you will integrate the Financial Data Integrity department which is in charge of the production and the justification of accounts for CIB activities of Natixis.

This department counts about 100 people with a target to be bilocated (40 in Porto and 60 in Paris).

You will join a team of 20 people in Porto.

As a Financial controller, you will be in charge of the certification of financial statements, i.e. produces, analyses, makes any corrections and validates the accounting results and exposures, as part of the monthly and quarterly closings, of the activities in one area of the CIB (Equity & Commodity, Financing or Fixed Income activities) of a major French banking institution with international dimension.

You will be in contact with Support trade (middle and back offices), the other Finance departments (Financial Permanent Control LoD2, Norms, Statutory and Social Accounting) and of course the Financing business teams.

Perimeter:
Within this division, you will be part of the team in charge of monitoring **Financing activities**.

Your future mission in FDI/Closing controls & certification (loD1.1).
- Finance accounting Controls:_
- Reconciliation between back-office inventories and accounting exposures. Identification and substantiation of discrepancies in detail, explanation of any differences;
- Investigate the necessity to post accounting/financial adjustment to render the accurately data;
- Justification of the alert controls: unnormal balance, consistency of monthly balances, Inversal of debit and credit balance;
- Contribute with quarterly closing controls to enhance ensuring the quality of data;
- Analysis and justification of the accounting standard differences (between French Gaap and IFRS Gaap);
- P&L control per Financing business line: analysis of the margin, level and consistency of the commissions, individual and IFRS 9 provision, funding.
- Analysis & Reporting Task:_
- Manual entries;
- Internal transactions;
- Audit trials production for some notices.
- Restoration of accounting keys (interim mission)._

Good self-growing and challenge in our area:

- You will participate in a recent department here in Porto with new challenge to optimize the work, internal procedures;
- Focus on a good onboarding including financial learning;
- French classes;
- The ability to develop a network within the various teams of the Natixis ecosystem, and an aptitude for collaborative and group work are key factors of success in this position;
- Study and propose new controls to be implemented or to evolve existing controls: as analyze the needs of final consumers, perform database queries to study the relevance of results, test new controls.

**Qualifications**:
**Hard Skills**:

- ** Higher education in accounting, with a first professional experience in banking or audit;**:

- Knowledge of accounting and ideally bank accounting;
- Knowledge of CIB products and activities would be appreciated;
- Good knowledge of database management;
- English (mandatory) and French (as a plus);
- Office tools (Excel);
- Good behavior of leadership.
