We work with some of the best retailers and distinguish ourselves by creating a technology that welcomes all buyers, using all forms of payment with real-time baskets.

**About your Team**

You will be **part of the Digital Product Team under the Retailer Platform Cluster**. The team currently has 8 team members, led by the Lead Product Manager: a Product Designer, 5 Software engineers (Senior in Front end and Back end) and a Data Engineer.

The team is responsible for driving the company's yearly growth through the design, development, and enhancement of innovative, user-friendly digital products and services. We also work hand-in-hand with the other engineering clusters (Store Platform and Engineering platform) to ensure a seamless execution of all product roadmaps. Across the business it collaborates closely with Operations and Growth Areas to effectively launch and promote new products.

As a **Senior UX Product Designer at Sensei**, you’ll transform customer problems into efficient solutions. Your passion for understanding user needs will drive in-depth research using qualitative and quantitative methods. Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders, you'll turn abstract ideas into tangible designs that address user pain points.

You'll blend empathy, analytical thinking, and creativity, championing user-centered design rooted in research and data. By staying ahead of UX trends and mentoring junior designers, you’ll shape our product’s future and foster a culture of innovation at Sensei. Your work can truly disrupt the retail industry and change the status quo

**Daily at Sensei, you will**:

- **Partner with the Lead Product Manager**: Participate and organize brainstorming sessions, plan and lead workshops with clients and translate product goals into user-focused research questions;
- **Conduct User Research**: Interview our users and champions, lead usability testing sessions, and analyze data to uncover pain points and opportunities.
- **Translate Research into Insights**: Synthesize complex data into actionable insights and recommendations;
- **Develop Design Concepts**:Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to visualize potential solutions and test them with users.
- **Iterate on Designs**: Gather feedback through testing and collaboration to refine designs and improve user experience.
- **Communicate Your Findings**: Present research results and design recommendations to stakeholders, advocating for user-centered solutions.

**You will bring to the table**:

- **A passion for user-centric design**:With over 4 years of design experience, you understand the importance of advocating for users and are curious about their needs and behaviors.
- **Proven research expertise**:With 3-5 years of experience, you excel in designing and conducting impactful qualitative and quantitative user research, turning complex data into actionable insights.
- **Strong conceptualization and visualization skills**:You transform abstract ideas into tangible designs through wireframes, user flows, and prototypes, effectively communicating your vision to stakeholders.
- **Excellent communication and collaboration**:A team player, you thrive in collaborative environments, partnering with the Lead Product Manager and team members to achieve shared goals.
- **Adaptability and a growth mindset**:You embrace new challenges and proactively seek to address gaps with a growth mindset**.**

**After six months, success means**:

- **Established a solid user research library**:You've implemented a cycle of research activities, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, that consistently provide actionable insights that feed into the product strategy.
- **Demonstrated measurable impact on product decisions**: Your research findings have directly influenced product strategy and design decisions, resulting in improved and increased feature adoption and a demonstrable increase in key product performance indicators.
- **Build strong cross-functional relationships**:You've fostered a collaborative working relationship with your team and the diverse Sensei stakeholders, effectively advocating for user needs.
- **Successfully launched user-centric designs**:You've played a key role in the design and launch of new features or product enhancements that demonstrate a clear understanding of user needs
