**About the team**:
At Web Summit, our people are at the centre of everything we do. So it makes sense that our People Operations team (HR, Internal Comms, Recruitment, Environment & L&D) are focused on supporting them by championing a diverse culture, nurturing learning and development, and finding the brightest minds to join us from around the world

We attract world-class talent; develop and execute numerous projects to improve processes like onboarding, learning, and development; provide strong administrative support to the rest of the business; and just add fun to our working lives

We are now looking for an Associate Recruiter to join the team and be influential in scaling our teams in multiple global regions.

**What you’ll achieve at Web Summit**:

- You’ll collaborate with hiring managers and their teams to deliver a seamless recruitment process.
- You’ll work closely with the internal recruitment team and HR to build efficient and scalable recruiting processes - generating ideas and suggesting improvements.
- You’ll manage a complex and busy recruitment schedule, utilising our ATS, Slack, and others.
- You'll support the recruitment team in ad-hoc hires across the business, including operations, live events, engineering, marketing, etc.

**Skills we like**:

- Exceptional problem-solving, planning and communication skills as well as the ability to engage any audience.
- Demonstrated track record of success in talent acquisition and development of sourcing strategy preferably within a tech sector.
- Ability to understand the long-term “big picture” and short-term perspectives of situations adjusting to moving deadlines and priorities.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Must be adaptable to moving business needs, and the asks the business places on the recruitment team.
