**Job Description and Requirements**

As an Event Technology and Communications Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our strategy, connecting Synopsys to customers and prospects globally.
- This position will support the planning and execution of company events which may include trade shows & conferences, sponsorships, internal company events, and digital events. In this role, you will serve as a consultant for in-person and/or digital events simultaneously. Primary accountabilities include project managing event and digital platforms, which comprises working with event managers and stakeholders to build effective event experiences (registration builds, digital platforms, attendee-facing event tech/tool suites), overseeing vendors, and actively managing the attendee registration process. This position also requires the combination of exceptional communication skills, project management ability, customer service, comfort with data management and an interest in thriving in a deadline driven environment.**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Responsible for providing technical and logístical support to our Global Events team and stakeholders for in-person and digital events.
- Support the overall event technology stack, promoting active learning and knowledge-sharing about the tools and its capabilities. It may include creating thoughtful training programs relevant to the team.
- Define registration system architecture and establish registration policies and procedures.
- Liaise between the events team and system integration teams at Synopsys and externally (Salesforce, CVENT, etc.) to ensure accurate technology and data management and reporting. Ensure relevant event technology documentation is kept current.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal customers to support strategy for projects, including (but not limited to): website creation, registration pages, on-demand badge printing services, onsite attendance tracking (badge scanning, session scanning), event mobile app, sponsors/exhibitors online and in-app presence, in-app gamification and others.
- Responsible for the creation, quality assurance, and ongoing testing of multiple online event registration pages, using online event management software, primarily the Cvent platform.
- Develop and implement pre-, during and post-event attendee communication plan, targeting the best communication channels.
- Monitor registration activity and data, auditing records for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide live and online customer service.
- Generate analytics/event reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with the team to build and deploy post event surveys and other metrics that provide relevant insights for future projects.
- Special projects/duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of related experience in a relevant role, ideally in digital marketing or event marketing.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using digital tools and platforms, such as Cvent, Aventri, Marketo or similar, including understanding how functionality impacts user experience and ability to troubleshoot technical solutions. Ability to learn and evaluate new event technology platforms comfortably.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML, and strong understanding of web standards.
- Effective written and verbal communication, ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural instructions and deliver clear, concise information tailored to specific and varied audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills ensuring quality in work, consistent output, and excellent follow through.
- Proactive, self-starter and active problem solver.
- Ability to adapt, multitask and prioritize competing deadlines in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills -problem solver who can analyze data and define solutions.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing or Communications, preferred.
- Some evening and weekend hours required.
- Travel required (5%)
