Ferring+You

You will conduct retained transactional activities and work closing with the Business Process Owner (BPO), contributing, and ensuring proper and effective administrative, financial, tax, and asset management, in compliance with existing fiscal and civil regulations, as well as with specific company policies and accounting principles.

You will manage processes and limited complex transactions, work independently with general supervision, and have limited judgments to make.

Your day at Ferring

Working in close collaboration with local Finance department to ensure timely achievement of the below tasks:
Order goods/services:
- Verify the quality of a purchase.- Manage purchase orders.

Accounts Payable:
- Document Management.- Process invoices.- Process payments.- Manage discrepancies.- Handle vendor queries.- Create and update supplier master data.- Process month end and reporting.

Manage expenses:
- Handle expense claims.- Perform quality check.- Process expenses reimbursement.- Manage queries.

Process and manage intercompany transactions

Tax preparation and management:
- Calculate and report taxes. Manage tax queries.- Monitor compliance.

Inventory management and validation:
- Perform Inventory accounting.- Transfer pricing.- Process month end and reporting.- Perform cost accounting and control.- Stock take.

Project accounting and validations.

Period end closing and reporting:
- Process current period transactions.- Generate and process Journal Entries.- Close and open, reconcile Sub-ledgers.- Update balances.- Adjust GL for period close and close GL period.- Generate financial reports.- Maintain G/L master data.- Manage allocations.- Intercompany reconciliations.- Perform Internal Controls.

Cash reconciliation: Load and reconcile bank statements- Accounting for Fixed Assets, Tax Accounting and Payroll accounting.

Financial budgeting and planning:
- Contribute and support to budget process.- Prepare period financial forecast.

Projects and improvements:
- Support HQ/Corporate Finance in the implementation of corporate Finance programs, processes or procedures which are to be locally applied.- Contribute to performance management and drive continuous improvement initiatives e.g. propose standardized and coordinated use of financial information systems, identify and propose optimization measures.

Compliance and integrity:
- Strict implementation and adherence to internal guidelines, instructions, processes and systems, local as well as global.- Strict adherence to the local fiscal and finance related regulations of the respective country.- Risk management: Inform relevant parties timely on potential issues, assess the risks and propose corrective measures.

Collaboration:
- Collaborate with SDM’s to ensure smooth service delivery.- Collaborate with GPO to work on continuous process improvements.- Collaborate with BPO to ensure a smooth relationship and a seamless delivery of the in-scope finance activities.

Behind our innovation There’s you- University master degree in Finance or Economics.- 3-5 years’ experience in Finance.- Demonstrated understanding and experience with many accounting and reporting principles and processes.- Experience with FI SAP is required; Power BI and Azure Analytics are a plus.- Experience with Navision is a plus.- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with teams, on
- and off shore.- An analytical mindset and solve basic problems independently.- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, being able to work with both management and employees in the organization.- Work independently with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders.- Ability to work in decentralized finance structure.- Professional business English (oral and written) as well as local language as required.
