Verisure (in Portugal known as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented, hands-on and passionate **Senior **GL** Accountant **to strenghten our France-based Finance Team. The role will report to the GL Accounting Senior Manager and will be** based in Lisbon**.

**As a full member of French GL accounting team, responsibilities** will include, among others:

- Booking and checking of all type of accounting entries in scope and the GL accounting cycles
- Management and follow-up of fixed assets and amortization
- Taking part in the GL analysis and reconciliation of both balance sheet and P&L accounts in the context of monthly closings as well as taxation issues
- Assist with group reporting into Hyperion Financial Management
- Active participation on both statutory audit (PWC) and internal audits within scope
- Strong involvement in the monthly/quarterly/yearly closings
- Possibility to reply to specific needs from other accounting processes (Cash Management / AP / AR.)

- University degree, preferably in Accounting & Finance, Management, Economics or similar
- Good knowledge of Accounting, intercompany processes, Tax issues, IFRS
- Around 5 years in a similar position with experience in group reporting (mandatory)
- Good level of French is mandatory, in addition to good knowledge of either Portuguese or English
- Experience as an ERP user (ORACLE, SAP, SAGE)
- Good MsOffice skills (particularly in Excel)
- Detail-oriented and able to solve problems
- Ability to strive in a fast-paced international/multicultural complex environment
- Flexibility and ability to work autonomously
- Eager to learn and grow with the team
