- Sourcing of goods and services
- Select, develop and manage supply base for components in upcoming and existing designs
- Develop and manage cost saving ideas within BW’s Supply Chain
- Spread lean principles within BW’s supplier pool in order to identify disruptive ideas ensuring over the years competitiveness
- Manage strategic sourcing of components
- Negotiate complex and or critical supplier agreements in line with existing strategies
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
- Support internal stakeholders with their indirect procurement needs
- Attend cross functional team meeting and support internal customer needs
- Conduct continuous improvement efforts focused on optimizing procurement process
- Work toward consistency, alignment, communication and adoption of best practices
- Comply with environmental, health and safety, quality and productivity standards
- Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations: Code of Ethics, practice and working period
- Respect workplace safety and cleanliness rules
- Perform other tasks not included in the activity for which they were hired, when the needs or convenience of service so warrant, for the period of time necessary for the aforementioned needs or convenience of service
- Education & Experience- Degree in Engineering, Economy or Finance
- 5 or more years of experience in purchasing area
- Knowledge in SAP (preferable)
- Good computer skills
- Knowledge of the automotive industry and customers
- Solid knowledge of related government laws and regulations
- Strong project management skills as well as good moderation and presentation skills, good knowledge of lean production and production-related IT

- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Portuguese
