A leading industrial company is recruiting a Certified Accountant (M/F/d).

Your new role

Prepare financial statements according to schedule

Prepare VAT declaration

Intrastat reporting

Support invoicing process

Support the tax audits and tax returns

Participate to internal and external audits to ensure compliance

Support month-end and year-end close process - SAP

Reconcile balance sheet accounts - Blackline Reconciliation

Ensure compliance with IT GAAP, IAS principles and tax laws

Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results

Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency

Review and recommend modifications to accounting procedures

IFRS 16 follow up

HFM reporting

Support to business controller

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience as accountant, 5 years' experience.

Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures

In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Familiarity with financial accounting statements

Cooperate with central FSS

Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

Hands-on experience with SAP 4 HANA

Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables

Accuracy and attention to detail

Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills

BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant

Fluent English and Portuguese language knowledge

Certified accountant - TOC
