**Role Purpose**:
Context:
Vodafone Networks is embarking on a digital transformation journey to radically transform the way we operate across Europe. Vodafone is setting up a new network digital product office to help define and lead this transformation. This new team will help create world class digital products on new digital platforms to meet our ambitions. Vodafone is looking for talented people who experiment, fail fast, and innovate at pace to define our future and create a cultural transformation.

About the role:
Vodafone is passionate about our customer’s experience. This role will be to create and deliver a portfolio of products to support the Network organisations, across Europe, maximise the customer experience on our Network. This will entail working with our digital developers, Network engineers, and data scientists to shape product backlogs that can help us improve customer retention, network performance, and resultantly customer satisfaction. This position will be the central point for creating, shaping, communicating, and delivering this backlog of value for our European markets as a global product manager.

You will be creating and managing a valuestream product backlog ensuring that business KPIs and outcomes are achieved through the value stream actions. This will be aligned to the strategic themes outlined by the Senior Product Manager.
A critical element of this role is therefore effectively communicating and prioritising your value stream with the technical executive teams across Europe who will directly benefit from your products.
You will have excellent stakeholder management skills which will enable you to execute your accountability for partnering with senior business leaders and customers across Europe to create manage the valuestream. You will also be comfortable presenting and testing your ideas with senior management and challenging the status quo.
Ultimately, the value stream is yours to shape to ensure the business outcomes are achieved each quarter/year. Working with the product owners to direct the internal development teams to build world class products to create a world class Network.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with Network Directors to define and agree value stream KPIs and targets;
- Manage Local market Product Owners to ensure market delivery;
- Take lead of product owners to prioritse features and releases to achieve value stream outcomes;
- Work with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align value stream to strategic goals;
- Perform market scanning;
- Work closely with product management/business teams to create and maintain a feature backlog according to business value or ROI (weightest shortest job first);
- Accountable for the success of the value stream and the achievement of the business outcomes.

**Ideal Background **:

- 5+ years product management experience;
- Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps;
- An understanding of Mobile &/or Fixed Line Products and Services;
- Ideally a relevant Degree in Engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to articulate complex issues simply and with impact to C-suite level;
- Emotionally intelligent with the ability to flex styles across a wide range of stakeholders at various levels within the organisation;
- Good Business Analysis skillset ability to take complex concepts / issues and communicate them in a manner which enables decisions to be made and progress to be maintained;
- Good understanding of cloud and digital technologies. Vodafone is embracing a build don’t buy mantra and cloud will form an important part of this technology stack;
- Strong financial/business case experience. We are looking to deliver real value, so calculating financial (and non financial) benefits are a must (including NPV, IRR, ROI).
