**Abbott Ambassador**

**Location - Norte/Portugal**

**Primary objective of the position**

The Abbott Ambassador is responsible for driving sales efforts for Diagnostics and optimizing Abbott systems utilization to maximize profitability and improve customer satisfaction.

**Major accountabilities**
- Full responsibility for sales quota including forecasting and target performance achievement within the region
- Drive profitable growth by initiating, developing and/or delivering unique diagnostics solutions that result in improved outcomes and benefits for both the customer and Abbott
- Develop sales planning for own area of responsibility
- Analyze sales, market and competitive data to develop sales strategy
- Analyze impact of market trends and factors on customers
- Support new product launches, evaluate market potential
- Monitor, measure and report progress against defined execution goals
- Build sustainable customer relationships and leverage them to drive profitable new sales
- Optimize Abbott systems utilization to maximize profitability and improve customer satisfaction
- Support service team to maximize uptime by providing troubleshooting as appropriate

**Educational background**

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or medical technology is preferred

**Requirements / Work experience**
- Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references
- Strong commercial experience, commercially driven
- Collaborative enterprise thinking
- Strong solution selling and relationship building skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues
