**Procurement Specialist**

**Mission**

In this role, you will be responsible to manage and execute Procurement & Contracting activities for Galp, looking for cost-effective deals and developing long-term relationships with vendors and contractors. You will have to develop sourcing strategies for different categories of spend and deliver value and improved operational performance, with a focus on safety and risk management.

**What you'll do**:

- Analyze data and prepare procurement strategies
- Ensuring that responsible sourcing is prioritized in the sourcing strategies
- Negotiate contracts to achieve the best value
- Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities
- Develop effective risk management strategies for key suppliers and key contracts
- Undertaking value-for-money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements
- Alignment with businesses objectives
- Executing value-creation projects
- Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders’ networks.
- Keeping up to date with trends, innovations and regulations that can impact business

**What you'll need**
- Proven working experience as a Procurement Specialist in an industrial environment
- Academic Background in Engineering, Economics or Business Management
- Complementary training in Negotiation
- Strong analytical skills and goal-oriented
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent networking and negotiation skills.
- Result-orientated and problem-solving skills
- Good computer skills from the user's perspective
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Attention to details
