**Your new company**
A five-stars hotels group is hiring a Certified Accountant (M/F/d) to assist the Finance Director, in Lisbon.
**Your new role**
Reporting do the Finance Director, you will:
- Developing and implementing accounting policies.
- Chartered accountant ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Ensuring IFRS compliance.
- Preparing company tax, and liaison with tax authorities.
- Coordinate Internal Audit or Finance Operation Compliance on related areas.
- Monthly, Quarterly reporting to Operator and Owner.
- Review and conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
- Review, analyse and scrutinize monthly financial reports (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist the Director of Finance in the preparation of the yearly budget, monthly forecast and cash flow.
- Assist the Director of Finance in maintaining a high standard of implementation of standard operating procedures and policy across the divisions.
- Provide leadership and guidance in the absence of the Director of Finance.
**What you'll need to succeed**
We are looking for a professional with:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Active Certified Public Accountant is required.
- At least 4 years of experience in similar roles.
- Proficient in English - mandatory.
