We have three main Technology Centers located in Denmark, Portugal and India. At Vestas R&D Continuous Improvement, you have the opportunity to shape our path toward a sustainable world.

**Responsibilities**

As part of VPS continuous improvement team, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate improvement, governance and maintenance of methods and tools for the product and process development steps in Vestas. This includes:

- Support organization on defining and implementing systems engineering
- Coach and support technical areas in correctly implementing the product development methods and extract the added value of a standard method
- Participate in root cause analysis to determine detection and systemic root causes of reported field issues
- Collaborate closely with modules and product groups to track product quality throughout the entire development cycle and create preventive actions
- Ensure compliance of the development processes and practices with quality standards.
- Align and decide the strategy for the methods and tools to be used
- Identify and coordinate metrics to aid the correct business decisions

**Qualifications**

To fit well into the position, you should ideally possess the following qualifications:

- A bachelor or master's degree in Engineering.
- 8+ years' experience working in product development of mature industries e.g., automotive, aviation, aerospace, etc.
- Solid experience working in product development projects.
- Experience as quality or technical lead on R&D projects and new concept development is advantageous.
- Good holistic knowledge of the product lifecycle.
- Experienced with product development process (ex: system engineering, vee model, etc.).
- General knowledge of ISO 9001 and it's implication on product and process development.
- Experience with APIS IQ FMEA and\or Visure IRQA is valued.
- Good communication skills in English, both orally and written.
