**Job purpose**

In this capacity, your primary responsibility will involve formulating design decisions grounded in both business imperatives and non-functional prerequisites. Your role will encompass the coordination and supervision of technical benchmarks in collaboration with the development team, encompassing areas such as software coding standards, toolsets, and platforms to ensure a harmonized integration landscape.

**Duties and responsibilities**

As an Integration Architect, your main duties and responsibilities will include:

- Create high-level integration strategies and architectures that outline how different systems will interact, exchange data, and collaborate. This involves considering factors such as data flow, communication protocols, security, scalability, and performance.
- Develop strategies for mapping data structures between different systems, ensuring that data is appropriately transformed, validated, and cleansed as it moves from one system to another.
- Identify and recommend suitable APIs and middleware solutions that facilitate seamless communication and interaction between disparate systems.
- Design and develop connectors, adapters, and middleware components that act as bridges between systems, enabling them to exchange data and function cohesively.
- Implement data governance and security measures to ensure that sensitive information is protected during integration processes, complying with industry regulations and best practices.
- Define mechanisms for monitoring the integration process and handling errors or disruptions that may arise during data exchange, ensuring data integrity and system availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, operations, quality assurance, and support, to ensure the smooth functioning of integrated systems.
- Create comprehensive documentation outlining integration architectures, patterns, protocols, and best practices for reference by development teams and other stakeholders

Technical skills
- **
- Master-level degree in Computer Science
- Proficiency in various integration technologies such as ESBs (Enterprise Service Buses), API gateways, message brokers, middleware, and integration platforms.
- Strong understanding of API design principles, RESTful architecture, GraphQL, and API management tools for creating and managing interfaces between systems.
- Expertise in micro services and containerized architecture
- Experience with.NET solutions
- Experience with Azure Cloud services like Azure Data Factory, API Gateway and Lambda functions

- Very good knowledge of Agile Software Development
- Good knowledge of event based systems, asynchronous paradigm, high concurrency architectures
- Strong knowledge of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT) and authorization concepts to ensure secure data exchange between systems.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases as well as no SQL ones
- Experience designing secure software systems based upon industry-specific specifications

- Fluent in English (spoken and written), any other languages is a plus
