Information Security Analyst
We are hiring an Information Security Analyst to join our team in Faro. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and protection of our organization's data and systems. You will work closely with our IT team to identify potential vulnerabilities, develop strategies to mitigate risks, and implement security measures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, knowledge of industry best practices, and excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or breaches.
- Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic investigations when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest information security trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and support to employees on information security protocols.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of information security concepts, tools, and techniques.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, etc.
- Experience with risk assessment tools and methods.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Location: This position is based in Faro but remote work may be considered for the right candidate.
Salary: We offer a competitive salary of $900 per month.
