About the Role

Cloudflare is looking for a passionate, creative, and results-driven Marketing & Events Manager to join our dynamic EMEA Events Center of Excellence team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a blend of analytical and creative marketing skills, and love bringing events to life, this is the perfect role for you

As part of the EMEA Marketing team, you will play a key role in driving high-impact events across the region to generate new leads, expand customer accounts, and contribute to our marketing pipeline growth. You'll own and execute a variety of event campaigns—from contract negotiations and promotional strategies to booth execution, team coordination, and post-event sales follow-up—to maximize return on investment.

This role requires exceptional project management skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for delivering measurable results. You'll also gain hands-on experience in the sales process and learn how to craft strategic marketing campaigns that align with ambitious business goals.

A key focus of this role is supporting the Southern Europe region (Spain, France, Italy). Additionally, travel within the region will be necessary to support event execution.

What You'll Do

- Plan & Execute Events: Organize and manage a variety of marketing events, including trade shows, Cloudflare conferences, meetups, executive dinners, and breakfast briefings, ensuring strong lead capture and conversion.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Design, Sales, Product, Localization, and Marketing teams to deliver high-impact, integrated online and offline marketing campaigns.
- Campaign Strategy & Execution: Define objectives, develop marketing assets (landing pages, banners, email templates), segment leads, and track/report campaign performance.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Oversee local vendors and partners to ensure seamless event execution.
- Project Management & Data Analysis: Manage campaign execution across platforms like Marketo and Salesforce, ensuring accuracy, timeline adherence, ROI measurement, and continuous optimization.
- Regional Field Marketing Support: Work side by side with the Field Marketing Manager to integrate impactful events into the broader regional marketing strategy and communicate insights to stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

- Fluent in English and French, Spanish, or Italian (mandatory).
- Based in Lisbon, Portugal.
- Experience in event marketing, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A highly motivated, positive, and collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making and optimization.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling marketing messages.
- A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn in a high-growth, tech-driven company.

Bonus Points If You Have:

- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Marketo, Contentful, or other marketing automation tools.
- Experience in content localization to enhance engagement across different languages and regions.
- Strong outreach messaging and content creation skills.
- Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS, security, or networking company.
