Dellent is a consulting company focused on System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations.

This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto. It is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business. We are looking for a Junior Application Support Engineer to work on this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Main Technical Requirements

- Maximum of 3 years of experience on Linux IT Projects

- Good knowledge of Linux environments (Windows Server is a plus)

- Proficiency in scripting languages (shell, Python)

- Strong understanding in web servers (manage migration from WebSphere to JBoss, for example)

- Good knowledge of security: SSL certificates, reverse proxy, load balancing

- General knowledge in scheduler tools (Control-M, VTOM)

- General knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, ELK)

- General knowledge of deployment tools (Git, Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket, Artifactory, OpenShift, Docker)

- Availability for preventive work (the application requires to be available 24/7, so must have an on‑call line for the team during non‑working hours for maintenance and issues)

- Good communication skills

- Ability to work in a team

- Good level of English
