PrimeIT is a leading company with over 18 years of experience in providing IT, Telecommunications, and Engineering technological services.

Specialized in Team Extension, Managed Services, Custom Software, and Nearshore, we currently have a team of over 2350 professionals collaborating on national and international projects across various technologies.

We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator SQL Server for this project

What are we looking for?

Services:

1. Database Operations (FOCUS, SQL Server)
2. General database services on productive systems including the following:

1. Daily global operation meeting;
2. Responding to incidents, changes and requests within defined SLA;
3. Monitoring backups and resolving issues;
4. Monitoring through tools and/or custom scripts;
5. General technical troubleshooting and resolution of issues;
6. Root cause analysis for incidents and proposing preventive measures;
7. Migration / upgrade / copy databases;
8. Supervision of automated patching;
9. Consulting, planning and executing activities with customers;
10. Providing 24x7 support and resolving upcoming issues independently;
11. Supporting DR tests;
12. Communication of recognized risks, issues and areas for improvement.

Engineering topics:

1. Contributing to the development and elaboration of AXA IT standards;
2. Setting and maintaining documentation;
3. Automation, industrialization, and improvement of the functioning of the Database infrastructure (scripting (T-SQL, PowerShell) and Puppet);
4. Developing new services;
5. Security and Audit topics;
6. Evaluation of new features and DB related products;
7. Fixing issues, delivering tasks requested;
8. Recording actions taken in the ticketing tool (ServiceNow);
9. Root cause analysis;
10. Documentation of planned activities.

Expertise:

Must have expertise:

1. SQL Server (2008 to 2022): Service should demonstrate senior expertise in database administration in complex international environments.
2. Expertise with running SQL Server in Public Cloud: AWS, Azure.

Nice to have expertise:

1. Familiarity with ServiceNow;
2. Additional expertise in administration of Oracle, MongoDB, Couchbase, PostgreSQL, Db2;
3. Puppet;
4. Expertise in change management (ITIL methodology);
5. International environment.
