Position

Ruby on Rails Developer – Junior (1‑3 years)

Full Remote from Portugal

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.

- Good understanding of RESTful APIs, database modeling, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker).

- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) is a plus.

- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.

- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

- Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).

- Nice to have:

- Experience with GraphQL, Redis, or Elasticsearch.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Interest in test‑driven development (TDD) and clean architecture.
