We are seeking a skilled API Architect to establish and uphold API governance, security standards, and design best practices for our client.
What you'll do:
- Ensure API lifecycle management aligns with organizational governance models;
- Review API specifications to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and best practices;
- Assess API security models and propose enhancements to meet security requirements;
- Facilitate API lifecycle processes across multiple projects;
- Streamline and industrialize API lifecycle processes to improve efficiency.
What you'll need to bring:
- Strong architectural mindset with the ability to quickly grasp API objectives and drive teams toward best practices;
- Hands-on experience with API Management Platforms (e.g., Apigee, WSO2, or others);
- Proficiency in API specification formats: OpenAPI v3, Swagger 2, WSDL;
- Strong understanding of data formats such as JSON and XML;
- Deep knowledge of authentication, authorization, and encryption standards, including OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, FAPI, TLS/SSL;
- Experience using API design tools and linters;
- Familiarity with OpenAI and working with YAML for API definitions.
