- Designing and building scalable backend services and APIs.
- Developing distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Building solutions across AWS and high-performance computing environments.
- Improving data management, storage and processing pipelines.
- Taking ownership of backend services from design through to production. What we're looking for:
- Strong backend development experience with Python, Java or C++.
- Hands-on production cloud experience (AWS preferred).
- Experience building and operating distributed systems.
- Proven ownership of production backend services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an independent mindset.
- Based in Spain with existing right to work. Nice to have:
- Kubernetes, Docker or Terraform.
- HPC, GPU infrastructure or large-scale compute environments.
- Kafka, SQS or other messaging technologies.
- Experience with scientific computing or simulation platforms. What's on offer:
