Portugal Active is a leading company in premium accommodation management and luxury tourism, combining high-end hospitality with exclusive experiences. After solid growth in Viana do Castelo, we are now expanding into Porto, and we're looking for an experienced Business Developer to drive this next phase.

If you have a strong commercial background, proven experience in property acquisition and business development, and a results-driven mindset, this is the opportunity for you

Your Responsibilities

1. Identify and acquire new properties for management, expanding our portfolio in Porto.
2. Manage and optimize the sales pipeline using CRM (Pipedrive), ensuring a strategic follow-up of each lead.
3. Ensure fast lead response times, maximizing conversion opportunities.
4. Re-engage lost leads, identifying new opportunities to bring property owners and investors back into the pipeline.
5. Develop strategic partnerships (B2C and B2B) with property owners, investors, and key industry players.
6. Analyze market trends and competition, adjusting strategies to optimize growth.
7. Conduct property visits and meetings, ensuring a tailored and effective approach.
8. Collaborate closely with the Marketing team, ensuring high-quality lead generation and strategic alignment.

What We're Looking For

1. Proven experience in Business Development/Sales (5+ years), preferably in short-term rentals, tourism, or real estate.
2. Strong track record of results, with the ability to close strategic deals and grow a property portfolio.
3. Experience using CRM tools (Pipedrive is a plus) and managing a structured sales pipeline.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of building trust with clients and partners.
5. Fluent in Portuguese and English (other languages are a plus).
6. Proactive and autonomous, able to manage leads and close deals independently.
7. Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency, knowing when to accelerate negotiations to close deals at the right time.
8. Availability for property visits and travel within Porto and surrounding areas.
