Java/Kotlin Backend Developer at Ankix

Ankix is enhancing teams for an international reference client focused on high-quality software engineering and globally used products. We are seeking experienced developers to solve complex problems and build scalable, resilient solutions.

Location: Remote (occasionally in-person meetings or events may be required).

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions in Kotlin or Java.

- Participate in the full development cycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate closely with other engineering teams.

- Support junior colleagues and promote best practices.

- Assume technical ownership within the team and services under your responsibility.

Mandatory Requirements

- +5 years of experience in backend development, preferably Java.

- Strong knowledge of OOP and design patterns.

- Experience with Terraform.

- Practice with unit testing, integration testing, and TDD (Shift‑Left).

- Git and CI/CD pipelines.

- Kafka.

- Kubernetes.

- GraphQL Federation.

- Azure Cloud.

- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

- Enjoy collaborative and agile environments.

- English - mandatory.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Spring Boot.

- Prior experience in Agile environments.
