THE ROLE

As an Accounting Specialist, you will be reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, and assisting in the accounting, tax and reporting of 20+ Indie Campers entities, and in the reporting of consolidated financial statements as a basis for financial analysis and management decisions in a dynamic environment, working closely with the Controlling and Corporate Finance teams.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

- Responsible for the tax deliveries of some of the entities of the group, nationally and internationally;

- Responsible for the month and year end closing activities and financial reporting;

- Preparation of financial statements;

- Research and interpret accounting policies and regulations;

- Contact with accountants and auditors from different countries;

- Review bank and balance sheet reconciliations;

- Review accounting entries in the accounting system, follow-up costs, and calculate accruals and deferrals;

- Involved in different accounting or controlling projects;

- Support in audit and due diligence works;

- Preparation and updating of accounting, treasury and reporting procedures.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

- Degree in Accounting, Management or Auditing (mandatory);

- Minimum of 5 years experience in auditing or accounting, and reporting (mandatory);

- Knowledge of Primavera or other accounting system (plus);

- Knowledge in Portuguese tax law;

- Consolidation knowledge (plus);

- Proactive, focused, adaptability, team worker, responsibility, dynamic, result oriented;

- Proactiveness to implement new ways of thinking and revolutionize the accounting procedures of the group.
