We are looking for an Engineering Manager. to provide technical leadership and set architectural direction for large-scale distributed systems, ensuring scalability and alignment with business goals. Lead and develop engineering teams, drive delivery execution, and act as the bridge between technical and business stakeholders in a remote environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend experience with Java & Spring Boot
- Strong experience in designing and operating distributed systems
- Solid system design expertise
- Proven people leadership and team management experience
- Strong business and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in high-ambiguity, remote environments
- Time zone flexibility for global collaboration
Nice to Have:
- Experience balancing hands-on technical involvement with people leadership
- Familiarity with agile delivery at scale
- Experience in environments with high ambiguity and evolving priorities
