What is this challenge about: - Operate and administer next-generation firewalls and VPN solutions, including platforms such as Fortinet and Palo Alto. - Manage endpoint protection solutions, including EDR, XDR, and antivirus/antimalware platforms (e.g., Trellix), ensuring availability and operational efficiency. - Support vulnerability management activities by running scans, analyzing results, and coordinating remediation actions across infrastructure components. - Administer Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions and support secure data handling across systems. - Manage two-factor authentication and conditional access solutions, including FortiAuthenticator. - Operate and support privileged access management solutions, such as CyberArk. - Monitor infrastructure security and performance, proactively identifying issues and implementing corrective actions. - Collaborate with network, security, and operations teams to ensure infrastructure resilience and compliance with internal standards. - Participate in on-call rotations and provide infrastructure support outside business hours when required. - Contribute to infrastructure improvements, automation initiatives, and operational best practices. Apply now What we are looking for: - +2 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role, with strong exposure to security-related infrastructure components. - Hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls and VPN technologies (Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent). - Experience administering endpoint protection platforms (EDR, XDR, antivirus/antimalware). - Familiarity with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys or Nessus is a plus. - Experience managing DLP solutions and identity/access management technologies, including two-factor authentication and conditional access. - Practical experience with privileged access management tools, such as CyberArk. - Solid understanding of infrastructure and network fundamentals. - Security and infrastructure-related certifications or formal vendor training are valued (Microsoft Azure Security, AWS Certified Security, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, F5, Check Point, etc.). - Availability for on-call rotation and occasional overtime (approximately 10% of the time). - Living in Lisbon (hybrid role) - Fluent level of English and Portuguese.
