Job Description:
Part of the Palatinate Group, Your Golf Travel & Premier Golf are collectively the world's largest golf travel business, specializing in golf breaks and holidays to over 3,000 destinations in 22 countries throughout the UK, US, Ireland, Europe and the Rest of the World. About the Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Premier Golf, as well as the UK based management team, including company Directors, you will be responsible for client experience in-Resort, during the season, as well as providing administrative support during the close season to the team in the USA & UK.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing and keeping updated the Resort Handbook
2. Updating and loading supplier information in the company Res platform
3. Manage bookings through the company database, whilst liaising with head office.
4. Organise resort transfers for guests' arrivals and departures
5. Liaising with suppliers and confirming reservations and services pre-arrival
6. Conduct a pre-arrival concierge service for guests.
7. Offering and making sightseeing and activity recommendations
8. Organising and reserving excursions and dinner reservations
9. Meeting clients at the airport and holding welcome meetings
10. Resolving conflict with clients
11. Referring complaints and problems to senior management
12. Writing reports
13. Providing support when holidaymakers experience difficulties such as lost luggage or health problems
14. Be on call 24 hours for guest and staff emergencies during the season
15. As this is a partially remote role you will need to be self-motivated and used to working in this environment
16. You will have excellent inter-personal skills, and be comfortable with clients and commercial partners in a face-to-face environment.
17. Administratively strong with good PC skills
18. You will have a full driving license, and be fluent in English
19. Strong experience working in a customer-facing role within the travel industry
20. A sound understanding of Supplier Contracts
21. Be able to demonstrate a track record in conflict resolution
22. Be used to seasonal workload variances
23. Any experience of golf would be beneficial although not essential
