We are looking for a seasoned Senior Fullstack Developer who thrives at the intersection of robust backend logic and accessible frontend experiences. The Role As a Senior Developer at Near Partner, you won’t just write code; you will mentor others, advocate for best practices, and ensure our applications are performant, scalable, and inclusive. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain fullstack features from database schema to UI components. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. - Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. - Advocate for and implement accessibility standards across the frontend. - Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate requirements into technical specs. Technical Skills - Frontend Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in React, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript. You should be comfortable managing complex state using Zustand. - Backend Excellence: Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot preferred) and Node.js to build and maintain scalable APIs. - Relational Databases: Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL. You should be proficient in schema design, complex joins, indexing strategies, and query optimization. - Quality Assurance: A "test-first" mindset with hands-on experience in Jest (unit testing), Cypress (E2E testing), and UI component documentation via Storybook. - Accessibility (a11y): Deep understanding of WCAG guidelines. You believe that "it isn’t done until it’s accessible," ensuring our tools work for everyone. - Legacy Context: (Nice to Have) Experience with or knowledge of YUI (Yahoo User Interface). We value developers who can navigate and modernize legacy systems with grace.
