Descrição do cargo Consort Group has been helping companies leveraging their data and infrastructure for over 30 years. Our Portugal office supports strategic offshoring choices in Europe, building a dynamic nearshore business in Porto. Responsibilities
- Design and develop the technical solution framework and contribute to the TPCV model.
- Develop and implement TPCV components, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Build unit tests and enforce code quality by following best development practices.
- Implement data exposure solutions to improve data accessibility across systems.
- Contribute to improving the data architecture and integration process.
- Industrialize solutions by applying CI/CD best practices and development standards.
- Participate in validation phases with end users to ensure solutions meet functional needs.
- Analyze existing data sources to improve data consistency and reporting reliability.
- Support the evolution of workflows and tools used in the data ecosystem.
- Collaborate with functional teams to support adoption and continuous improvement of solutions.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and modern data ecosystem components. Qualifications
- At least 4–6 years of experience in software development or data engineering environments.
- Solid experience in Python development and data engineering, working with data processing frameworks, APIs, and ETL pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, Polars, SQLAlchemy, psycopg2, and Pyboto3.
- Mastery of programming practices (CI/CD, unit testing, version control).
- Mandatory experience with Dataiku.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, IBM Cloud, or similar).
- Experience with containerization using Docker.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and optimization best practices.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar).
- Familiarity with Agile tools and methodologies (Jira, Confluence, ALM).
- Excellent collaboration, teamwork, and the ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem‐solving mindset, creativity, and high attention to detail. Language skills Language
