The Role:

Nitro Software is seeking a talented Salesforce Developer with some experience in MuleSoft integration to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll leverage your deep knowledge of Salesforce development and MuleSoft to design, develop, and maintain integrated solutions that enhance the overall business ecosystem. If you're passionate about driving seamless connectivity between systems and optimizing Salesforce through MuleSoft integrations, we'd love to hear from you

What you'll be doing:

1. Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce tools.
2. Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and project managers to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions and infrastructure.
3. Develop and manage MuleSoft APIs, flows, and integrations to connect Salesforce with external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
4. Customize Salesforce platform functionalities, including workflow automation, data integration, reports, and dashboards.
5. Develop, test, and deploy MuleSoft connectors to integrate third-party systems with Salesforce.
6. Create and manage APIs for use by internal and external stakeholders, working with our Security and Compliance teams to ensure security and governance in a High-Trust environment.
7. Monitor and optimize integration performance between Salesforce and external systems via MuleSoft or Native integrations, addressing any latency or data quality issues.
8. Ensure the scalability and maintainability of Nitro's business systems and partner ecosystem.
9. Provide ongoing support for post-deployment issues, including troubleshooting integration problems between Salesforce and other platforms.
10. Stay up-to-date with Salesforce, Mulesoft, and AI advancements, recommending best practices, new features, and system improvements.

What we're looking for:

1. Salesforce Development: Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce development using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce tools.
2. Salesforce Platform: In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
3. Apex and Visualforce: Proficiency in writing Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages to meet business requirements.
4. Lightning Components: Experience in developing custom Lightning Components and working with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
5. Data Modeling: Understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data flow considerations between Salesforce and external systems.
6. Version Control: Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or SVN.
7. Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required), Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II and MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule 4) certifications are a plus.
8. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

1. MuleSoft Integration: Experience in MuleSoft, including designing and building integrations between Salesforce and other systems using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
2. API Management: Expertise in creating, deploying, and managing APIs in MuleSoft, with a strong understanding of REST and SOAP web services.
3. Integration Best Practices: Knowledge of best practices for integration, including error handling, logging, data transformation, and retry mechanisms within MuleSoft and Salesforce integrations.
4. Testing and Debugging: Strong understanding of Salesforce and MuleSoft testing frameworks and debugging methods.
5. Experience with AI Tools and Frameworks, including AI platforms like Google Cloud AI, Agentforce, AWS AI/ML, or Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services.
