ROLE SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Early Learning School Teacher to join our team and work with children aged 3 to 5 years old. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing school community where staff play an active role in shaping the school’s development, contributing to both pastoral care and co‑curricular activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Teach and support early years students (ages 3–5), following the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

- Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based lessons that stimulate early cognitive, social, and physical development.

- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where young children feel supported and encouraged.

- Use creative and interactive teaching methods, including play, stories, songs, and hands‑on activities to promote learning.

- Foster the development of essential skills such as communication, problem‑solving, and social interaction.

- Monitor and assess student progress, providing individualised feedback to support each child’s growth.

- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s development and provide advice on supporting learning at home.

- Collaborate with colleagues on developing cross‑curricular activities that integrate learning through play.

- Participate in school events and extra‑curricular programs, helping to build a sense of community among students and families.

- Ensure that teaching aligns with the values of King’s College, promoting a love of learning and encouraging positive relationships.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- University degree in appropriate subject

- Excellent subject knowledge, ensuring good progress for all students
