About the role

Smartimpact is a UK based Microsoft Partner and a leading provider of Dynamics 365 CE, Kentico and Umbraco solutions in the Not-for-Profit and Membership marketplace. We have around 75 staff and well over 150 successful projects in the membership associate, institutes, regulator, trade union and charity marketplace. Our aim is to make a difference within the NfP industry. We have seen over a 50% growth in the last 2 years, with a Development team here of just over 20 people, with a team of 7 based in Portugal.

We have a company set up in Portugal, so can either offer a permanent role (with package) or a long term contract position (using Green Receipts or your own limited company). You would also receive paid vacation days as well.

About the role

Smartimpact are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Dynamics 365 CE/ Power Platform Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate must have solid and demonstrable experience of developing Power Platform solutions using C#. The candidate should be a creative problem solver who will work in coordination with functional teams to design, develop and maintain our next generation web sites and web tools. We build various web sites and web service portals for our clients based upon our web development framework and tool kit. This role will involve using Microsoft/'s Power Platform and Azure services to create and manage effective business solutions. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of software development best practices, coupled with a proficiency in Dynamics 365, C# development, Azure Development and Azure DevOps.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and implement solutions using Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Services, Marketing and Project Operations.
- Use Power Apps, Power Automate and the Dataverse to create effective business applications and workflows.
- Develop and maintain C# applications following Object-Oriented software development practice and SOLID principles.
- Create Azure solutions such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Function Apps, Azure Service Bus and Azure API management.
- Write early binding code for the Dataverse and create custom components like ins, workflow activities, custom actions, API/'s and Azure Functions.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Dynamics 365/ Power Platform developer.
- Expertise in Dynamics 365. C# Development and Azure Development.
- Proficiency in using Azure DevOps and implementing CI/ CD.
- Familiarity with TDD and software testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of Object- Oriented software testing methodologies.
