Are you interested in research in theoretical physics and strongly interacting systems? As a PhD student in theoretical nuclear physics, you will have the opportunity to explore deep questions about the origin and properties of atomic nuclei and the quantum forces that govern them. Join our team and contribute to groundbreaking research at the intersection of nuclear and particle physics

Context: The THz domain represents a significant frequency range due to its potential applications in various fields, such as imaging, high-speed wireless communications, and biomedical diagnostics. Despite its importance, the THz domain remains relatively underexplored.

One of the main activities in nuclear physics is the study of the properties of the exotic nuclei up to the limits of the nuclear chart, in regions with extreme proton-neutron ratios (proton/neutron driplines) and at the highest masses A and atomic numbers Z. The so-called super-heavy nuclei (SHN) are of particular interest.
