Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant at Finpros, you will play a key role in managing the financial health of our operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
2. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
3. Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
4. Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.
5. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
6. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
7. Collaborate with internal departments to streamline financial operations.
8. Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
9. Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
2. 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on general accounting and financial reporting.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial regulations.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
8. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
