We are looking for a QA Engineer for a hybrid position from Porto:
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, with a focus on leading testing efforts in complex software projects.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices.
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and tools, including but not limited to Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Strong understanding of web technologies and APIs to effectively validate applications.
- Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and tools, including but not limited to Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions and BigQuery.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB) or relevant fields.
- Knowledge in agile methodologies and tools (Scrum/Kanban, Jira) (nice to have).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
