Mecwide DC Europe, part of the international Mecwide Group and CTS Europe, specializes in the mechanical erection of hyperscale Data Centers worldwide will strength the presence in Europe. With 200+ MW installed and a strong ambition to lead in one of the most demanding sectors in Europe, we are looking for a Head of Business Unit to take full ownership of our regional company and operations.
Mecwide Group is a reference in industry construction and maintenance, providing highly qualified services in the Metalworking Industry Sector with industrial units established in Europe and Africa.

What you'll do:
- Oversee all staff, projects, budgets and operations in Portugal and South Europe;
- Oversee day-to-day operations;
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses;
- Design strategy and set goals for growth;
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally;
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees;
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance;
- Prepare regular reports for upper management;
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations;
- Ensure the full compliance in the project countries;
- Provide solutions to different issues.
What you should have:
- Academic background in Business, Engineering or similar (BSc/MSc);
- Proven track-record in leadership roles (GM, Operations Director or similar);
- Knowledge of mechanical construction, ideally in Data Centers or industrial projects;
- Strong commercial acumen, including client development and tender strategy;
- Knowledge of business process functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc);
- Hands-on leadership, team development, and performance management skills;
