Job Responsibilities
1. Collaborate closely with the product team (functional tester, PO, Dev).
2. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and security aspects of software applications.
3. Implement and enhance automated test frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage.
4. Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated testing into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
5. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test data, ensuring realistic and diverse scenarios are covered.
6. Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
7. Report and track defects using designated tools, providing detailed information for developers to facilitate efficient issue resolution.
8. Collaborate with the development team to verify bug fixes and ensure the successful closure of reported issues.
9. Create and maintain documentation related to automated test scripts, frameworks, and testing processes.
10. Provide training and support to team members on test automation best practices.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Proven experience as a QAE, with a strong understanding of web technologies.
3. Strong technical leadership experience, preferably as a Tech Lead or similar position.
4. Deep knowledge of test automation technologies, including Cypress, Playwright, WebdriverIO, Selenium, and Appium.
5. Practical experience with test frameworks such as Jest and Pytest.
6. Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and the ability to integrate the testing cycle into it.
7. Knowledge of automated testing pipeline concepts.
8. Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
