The Constellation Technology Team provides a group-wide set of Technology Products and Services across the Constellation Automotive Group.
As a Product Owner you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next product innovation to working directly with our product design team and engineers to implement new features & iterate upon feedback. You will use your start-up mind-set and your full range of product development skills to produce elegantly simple features that align to both business & product outcomes. You’ll be expected to push the boundaries of what’s possible, while sharing in our healthy obsession for product, quality and attention to detail.
Role Accountabilities:
- Gather requirements and understand business needs
- Evaluate Business benefits and financial impacts to set the right priorities.
- Translate requirements into user stories.
- Multi-Level Support, triage and investigation skills.
- Support local business partners on product configuration/administration incl. UAT and live deployments.
- Raising Change Requests and support smoke testing on live deployments.
- Write and validate release notes.
- Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap, aligning product enhancements with BCA’s mission and competitive position.
- Collaborate with Commercial and Operations teams on strategic direction and integration within the BCA ecosystem.
- Drive innovation and add value to the product portfolio for internal and external customers.
- Engage with the business community and users to gather feedback and ensure product value.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, working closely with engineers and cross-functional teams.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience and understanding of agile product management principles (scrum for example).
- Presentation and training skills.
- Hands-on Product Owner/Product Manager with experience leading Agile teams to deliver end-to-end products.
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional relationships.
- Tenacious and solution-focused, able to handle complexity and drive effective outcomes.
- Experienced in customer interactions, using data and insights to inform roadmap decisions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, time-management skills, comfortable with ambiguity and detail-oriented.
