Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior SoftwareEngineer to integrate a team working in the sports technology space.
You will be integrated intothe Product Engineering team, working alongside professionals whovalue clean architecture, reliable systems, and user-focused design.
You will help shape the product, influence technical decisions, and workclosely with the Product, Design, and Customer Success teams to delivermeaningful and scalable solutions.
You will also mentor other engineers, share knowledge across teams, and growwithin a culture built on trust, openness, and continuous improvement.
- API:Ruby, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL.
- Frontend:React Native & React (TypeScript).
- DataAnalysis: Python.
- Low-leveloperations: Rust.
Responsabilities
- Develophigh-quality software across the stack, mainly using Ruby on Rails andReact Native.
- Collaborateclosely with Product, Design, and Customer Success teams.
- Leadtechnical and architectural discussions and decisions.
- Writeclear and complete documentation.
- Mentorjunior engineers and support your peers.
- Engagedirectly with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs.
- Continuouslyimprove processes through feedback, testing, and learning.
Requirements
- Solidexperience (5+ years) with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks (Django, Laravel, ASP.NET , NestJS, Phoenix,Flask).
- Comfortableworking with React and React Native.
- Communicatetechnical concepts clearly and confidently.
- Proactive,value mentorship, and enjoy challenging assumptions constructively.
- Focuson practical, user-centered solutions rather than purely technical ones.
- Confidentin interacting directly with customers and stakeholders.
- Comfortablewith a hybrid work model - 3 days per week at the client's office in Porto.
