🚀We are looking for a Engineering Manager🚀

As a Senior Engineering Manager – Software Engineering for Sports Entertainment, you will be working for our client, a leading tech company dedicated to revolutionizing digital experiences in sports. Your leadership will drive high-impact projects, inspiring multidisciplinary teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that elevate the user experience and shape the industry’s future.

Your main responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of up to 6 developers and 1 QA, fostering a motivated and high-performing environment

- Appraise performance, provide mentorship, and support career development initiatives

- Oversee hiring processes and ensure successful delivery of engineering projects through effective stakeholder collaboration

- Align team initiatives with organizational goals, identifying risks and dependencies proactively

- Promote Agile practices, particularly Scrum, throughout the product lifecycle

- Track project progress, analyze performance metrics, and optimize team efficiency through continuous process improvements

You’re ideal for this role if you have

- At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, with proven leadership in team management

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

- Experience in developing team culture and guiding career growth

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to diagnose technical challenges effectively

- Knowledge of distributed systems and quality assurance processes

- Fluency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken

- Experience with incident management and defect tracking systems

It is a strong plus if you have

- Certifications in Agile or Scrum methodologies

- Previous experience in sports entertainment or related industries
